JANET STRAIGHTARROW found her Shamanic calling in 1992 after twenty-five years of intense studies seeking complete healing of body, mind, and spirit. From that day forward, her journey has been intense as she studied with many Shamans, Masters, Gurus, and Renowned Teachers. Janet began practicing and teaching in 1995. When she discovered this Shamanic lineage, she found that it brings all learning together with universal wisdom and mastery teachings and practice. Offering this training in a retreat setting allows integration and relaxation away from daily responsibilities. This Universal practice came to her through a Siberian lineage after years of Shamanic Training with many worldwide lineages and practices.

THE PROPERTY AND LODGING. Indoor cabins with single, double, and queen-sized beds. Outdoor camping in a comfy pine wooded spot with a flush toilet and hot and cold showers for those who want to camp. We prepare our meals in a fully appointed modern kitchen with lovely indoor and outdoor seating to share our meals. There are open skies at night with great moon, sun, and star views—horses to visit. Beautiful open fields and wooded trails to enjoy. This retreat space is a lovely blend of comfort, relaxed space, and nature. Art Farm Retreat is located in the lower Hudson Valley. Easy to drive from the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and New England States.
