Her studies with 150 teachers worldwide and her reading of thousands of books gave her information\, tools\, and many perspectives to learn from.\nIn 1981\, Janet opened her first healing business\, The Whole Foods Cooking School. She taught women how to heal and nourish their families with whole foods nutrition. She also taught tasty ways to prepare healthy meals with pure ingredients.\nThat same year\, Janet began her yoga and meditation studies with the Himalayan Institute.
